You know what would be good?

I had lunch at a British Fish and Chips shop. For dessert I had a deep-fried Mars Bar. It was pretty good, but I just had a brainwave to make the ultimate deep-fried chocolate dish:

Deep-fried Cadbury Creme Eggs.

I'm a genius, non?

ETA: While finding links for the above words, I found that I'm not the first person to come up with this idea. Dash it all! Still, I came up with it on myself, and I'm satisfied with that.
By the way, one of the links I found claims that a DF'd Mars bar is " an excellent source of fat, sugar and calories."

Furthermore, ice is an excellent way to get your daily water quotient, and a bag of frozen vegetables is an excellent way to get your vegetables.

Yum! Thats an idea! In opposition to the deep-frying, they are also very good when you put them in the fridge first.
I personally think they should make the surrounding chocolate shell a bit thinner, and with dark chocolate instead... dark chocolate just makes everything better!

Hey Owen, I tried deep fried ice cream once but I wasn't a big fan. The batter wasn't very crispy although the ice cream bit was pretty nice. ;)

Nicole,

Where did you try it? I tried it at Joe's and it really wasn't anything more than a scoop of ice cream on top of some fried crispy batter.
